So I've been trying to think of something to write here to get rid of that old journal from November and keep coming up blank. So here's a quiz! Yaaay... 1. What is your DeviantArt name and what does it mean? DaisyOfSarasaland. It means I was just as big a fangirl when I joined, but with less ability to think of something original to call myself ^^; 2. Why did you join this site? I kept doing google searches for Mario/Luigi images and it kept bringing me to fanart here. So eventually I thought... "Hey! I should do that too!" This was when I was mmm... thirteen I think? Which means that all my early submissions here are SO TERRIBLE ;__; 3

So I recently decided to look up that old Super Mario comic that was originally released in Nintendo Power-- after minimal searching I found the whole story here http://yoshiart.com/comics.php . Now... I'd only seen bits and peices of it before. It was only in reading the whole thing that I realized how goofy, exaggerated, and awesome it actually is. It was originally published in 92, back when corny alliteration and cutesy rhymes were apparently still the pinnicle of hilarity in kids' comics. Not to mention the facial expressions... every other frame there's an emotion being exaggerated to the extreme! I'm not saying any of this in criticis

You know what I love? Those moments in Mario games where the bros are really affectionate, and it's obvious that they're there for each other and love each other. I was playing Bowser's Inside Story the other day (not nearly as dumb as I thought it'd be, much better than Partners in Time but still not quite as good as the original) and you know, in all of the Mario and Luigi games there're these moments where they get separated, and one has to save the other from like, some kind of peril? And then they're all happy when they're reunited and I get the warm fuzzies :aww: I'm such a girl, LOL. But it's sweet! You don't see that kind of relations
